The Auguries

Today's been real slack. Lucky i'm gonna meet lynette later. She brightens up my day in a way. Gosh... dats so mushy, haha. Just finished lecture and havin an hour break. Gonna nap for a while then go for tutorial.
I have a chillout topic in mind now... let's see. It's about the prospects of having pubs in neighbourhoods.
I've been to pubs in neighbourhood areas like Hougang and Parkway. To those living in Hougang and don't know that pubs do exist, please do more venturing. Dex brought me there and really, the ambience was perfect. Played cool music and of course, soccer! The one at parkway was more catered for uncles and aunties. Remembered one uncle singinig the song "xiao wei". Gosh, the uncle sang it damn well too. Small pubs like these are able to survive even though the club and pub scene is intense.
When youngsters are asked about which clubs and pubs they go to, they give the common names. Like Zouk, China Black, blah blah. Maybe i adore non-mainstream stuff but seriously, we are not giving chances to the smaller players in the market. One pub which i really like, my gf brought me to, is RoomFull of Blues. They played great music and yes, bartenders were friendly. Thumbs up dudes. So to all pubbers and clubbers, venture more so that the night scene will flourish further.
Maybe you could kickstart drinking from Hougang, down to Serangoon, to Parkway, Selegie, Boat Quay, Orchard and end off at Holland. Wad a pubcrawl!
This is some nonsensical chillout by Kun so have pleasure reading.
Song to go with it?
Any song by James Brown.
